BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise and Caldwell Police Departments blocked off parts of the North End to search for an aggravated assault suspect Sunday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, both departments started to search for the suspect believed to be in the area of Bogus Basin Road.
The suspect, Robert Tunison, 34, was wanted in connection to an incident in Caldwell.
Officers said they spotted Tunison and his car near the 2400 block of N. 15th Street.
Police said when Tunison saw officers he fled. Officers set up a perimeter and additional resources were called to secure the scene and locate Tunison.
Tunison was located around 3:15 a.m. hiding under a car.
Police said he was booked into the Ada County Jail on aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon charge, related to the incident in Caldwell. He also got a resisting and obstructing charge in Boise.
