TVING’s upcoming variety show “Bro & Marble” has finally confirmed its premiere date!
“Bro & Marble” is a new variety program starring Lee Seung Gi, Yoo Yeon Seok, Lee Dong Hwi, Ji Suk Jin, Jo Se Ho, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and SEVENTEEN’s Joshua and Hoshi as they take the Blue Marble game (South Korean board game similar to Monopoly) to a large real-life scale and enjoys a vacation in Dubai. They will “buy” landmarks in Dubai, pay “toll fees” in cash, and freely enjoy traveling within the landmarks they “own.”
On July 5, TVING confirmed the release date of the highly-anticipated variety show along with a new teaser. Still parodying the hit dating show “Transit Love” (“EXchange”) in the teaser, the “bros” are sitting face-to-face while reading the “Introducing My Bro” (a twist to the original “Introducing My Ex” segment in “Transit Love”) letters that the other person has written about them.
Yoo Yeon Seok starts by reading his letter written by Kyuhyun. Describing Yoo Yeon Seok as a talented and versatile actor, Kyuhyun humorously wrote, “His kiss scenes are especially amazing,” adding, “The Yoo Yeon Seok that the public knows is someone who’s gentle and serious, right? But when you get to know him, you’ll learn that he’s someone who’s crazy about girl groups and is basically a comedian.” Meanwhile, Kyuhyun turns a bit shy upon reading his introduction letter written by Yoo Yeon Seok, who sweetly remarked, “Thanks to my friend Kyuhyun, I was able to fearlessly challenge myself to do variety shows.”
Next, Lee Dong Hwi introduces Ji Suk Jin as the “maknae-like oldest member who is about to turn 60” and sweetly promises he’ll do everything for Ji Suk Jin so the latter can just enjoy their trip. Continuing the heartwarming atmosphere, Lee Dong Hwi looks back at his first meeting and budding friendship with Jo Se Ho, raising anticipation for their chemistry in the upcoming show.
Lastly, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi describes teammate Joshua as a smart character who is fluent in three languages, a talented musician who plays guitar well, and a gentleman who always keeps his cool in every situation. However, Hoshi adds, “Now that’s the Joshua that the public knows. The Joshua that I know is someone with subtle madness behind that gentle face.” Similarly, Joshua also reveals his affection by introducing Hoshi as “an innocent person who’s full of aegyo” and “someone who will become your personal comedian who’s eager to make you laugh once you get to know him.”
