The U.S. Small Business Administration has partnered with the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation and the Hawaii Small Business Development Center to open an SBA Business Recovery Center in Kihei beginning today.

The center, which will offer free services to those impacted by the recent fires, is located at the Maui Research Technology Center conference room at Building A, Suite 119 at 590 Lipoa Parkway.

The center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

“Due to the severe property damage and economic losses inflicted on Hawaii businesses, we want to provide every available service to help get them back on their feet,” said Director Tanya Garfield of the SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West. “The center will provide a one-stop location for businesses to access a variety of specialized help. SBA customer service representatives will be available to meet individually with each business owner.”

No appointment is necessary. All services are provided free of charge.
